Fourth Annual Field of Pink Display at Augusta Regional Airport!

Augusta Regional Airport (AGS) is proud to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month by presenting the Fourth Annual Field of Pink Display!
The Field of Pink consists of pink flags placed around the Airport entrance sign to honor those who have fought the breast cancer battle. The commemorative flags will remain in place for the entire month of October.

Everyone is invited to join the Airport in the effort to bring awareness to this terrible disease that affects one out of every eight women in the U.S. The Airport will sell pink flags through October 29th for $1. The Airport will also sell t-shirts, one for $20 or two for $30. These items may be purchased at the Airport Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. 100% of proceeds go directly to the University Health Care Foundation’s Miracle Mile Walk.

“Routine screening mammography is the gold standard for early detection and we believe all women should have access to these lifesaving screenings,” said Laurie Ott, President of the University Health Care Foundation. “100% of the proceeds from the Miracle Mile Walk stays local to help fund mammograms for under and uninsured women. University Health Care Foundation appreciates Augusta Regional Airports continued support!”

“We are very honored again to support the Field of Pink Campaign,” said Herbert L. Judon, Jr., Augusta Regional Airport Executive Director. “These pink flags represent a constant reminder of the individuals, families, and healthcare workers on the frontlines battling breast cancer.”
