Augusta Regional Airport is essential to the communities economic infrastructure, supporting its diversified industries including, but not limited to, aerospace technology, manufacturing, distribution, tourism and agriculture. Augusta Regional Airport is the front door to the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA) and provides numerous companies efficient access to their employees and facilities. Some of the areas major employers include Proctor & Gamble, John Deere, Kellogg, Bridgestone/Firestone, and T-Mobile.
Augusta Regional Airport is located six miles south of Augustas central business district and is owned and operated by the City of Augusta. The airport is situated on over 1,400 acres and consists of two asphalt runways. The airports Fixed Base Operator (FBO) provides aircraft tie downs, transient aircraft ramp parking, hanger storage, catering, fueling and courtesy transportation.
